Travel Counsellors have achieved over £100 millions in sales last month, better than pre pandemic levels. I have had my best every month since become a self employed Travel Counsellor and that is all thanks to the amazing support of the people of Ruddington.
January has always traditionally been the month to book holidays and for travel companies to break sales records so it is no surprise that we have achieved these targets. After 2 years of being unable to make solid travel plans for fear of COVID cancellations, it looks like travel trends are back.
I’ve had lots of exciting enquiries this month. Florida continues to be a popular choice, but my latest enquiry was something a bit different with less time in Orlando. These two families travelling together have sandwiches time in Orlando between a stay in Miami and time on the Gulf Coast to enjoy Florida’s stunning beaches.
This wasn’t the only multi family holiday I booked this month, with one 65 year old celebrating this milestone birthday by inviting their children and their families to Mauritius for a week. With families coming from different sides of the world it took some coordination but the customer was pleased with the overall result and will have a fabulous celebration in November.
City breaks were also popular this month with stays in Seville, Florence and Bruges being booked by my lovely customers.
